Change Attribution Settings

After generating your Tracking Link, you can check its attribution window settings and change them if needed. To do so:

  • Under Campaign Lab, select Partners and Adikteev Activation.
  • Go to the Data Sharing tab, and check that the Data sharing is Active.

  • Go to the Links tab, and select Adikteev Activation.

  • Click on Attribution settings.

By default, reattribution settings are inherited from the app-level ones.

If you want different settings, click on Edit and customize the values for Inactivity period and/or Reattribution Window (for Clicks and Impressions), and then click on Done.

Please note that the inactivity window for clicks and impressions must be identical

Glossary

  • Reattribution Window: timeframe in which the consecutive events triggered by either an ad impression or a click will be attributed to a certain partner.
  • Inactivity period:  Please note that by default Adjust sets a period of 7 days after each app open during which it is not possible to be receive attributed reengagement events. 
    While this can be used for re-activating dormant users, running a retargeting campaign can require to target active users to help them to convert, and therefore for such use case you need to set this "Inactivity period" to 0 days.
